Meta is teasing a major focus on audio and video calling on the Facebook Messenger app. The social media giant has introduced a new tab within Messenger dedicated to all of your calls.
The new “Calls” tab houses all of your audio and video calls in one location, making it easier to call friends with a few taps. It sits right next to the “Chats” tab in the Messenger app for Android and iOS (via TechCrunch (opens in new tab)). The tab displays every call you’ve made or received, including missed calls. The new tab displays audio and video call buttons, as well as a list of your contacts.
